Helping empower a new generation of leaders.

Meet the team guiding youth on their path through mentorship and financial support.

Frank Lonardelli

President and CEO

Frank Lonardelli is the CEO of Arlington Group and the founder of The Arlington Foundation Scholarship Society. Inspired by his own experience growing up in a first generation Italian Immigrant family located in downtown Winnipeg and challenges with school, Frank established the fund to support young people to overcome personal adversity in their pursuit of higher education. He believes that with a combination of mentorship and financial support young people can achieve great things.

Dave Coulter

Past Teacher at Gordon Bell High School

Dave Coulter retired from teaching in 2009 after a 40 year career at Gordon Bell. His plan for a life of leisure was derailed when he assumed the duties of acting Science Consultant for the Winnipeg School Division.

He has always admired how many of his students overcame huge obstacles in the pursuit of their education, and is very pleased to be a part of making it possible for such a student to have a fully funded post-secondary education. Dave received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Winnipeg and a Masters in Education from the University of Manitoba.

Lin Ruttan

2009 Scholarship Recipient

Lin Ruttan received the Arlington Street Foundation scholarship the first year it was established in 2009. Since receiving the scholarship she graduated from the University of Winnipeg in the Faculty of Education. She spent 4 years teaching abroad in Thailand and then came back home and is currently teaching in the Winnipeg School Division.

Lin has always been a resilient person even when life has thrown challenges at her. She has wanted to be a teacher for as long as she can remember and is grateful for the scholarship helping her in achieving her dreams.
